Description

Dr. Sattler is a cultural anthropologist who received his Ph. D. from the University of Oklahoma in 1987.  His areas of interest include Native North America, Ethnohistory, Political Anthropology, Social Organization, Political Economy, Gender,  & Ethnicity.  He has conducted extensive ethniographic and ethnohistorical research with the Seminoles, Creeks, and Cherokees.  He is also developing a research interest in the Native Peoples of the Columbian Plateau.
