Dr. Campbell is a cultural anthropologist who is interested in health issues, particularly among Native Americans. He has conducted ethnographic field research among Native Americans of the Great Plains. His research interests are social epidemiology, demography, social organization, ethnic studies, and critical anthropology. He earned the Ph.D. degree from University of Oklahoma in 1987. Professor Campbell serves as the curator of ethnology for the Department of Anthropology anthropological collections.
