I was born and raised in Eastern Montana and grew up enjoying the outdoors. Camping, hunting, and shooting rifles were my priorities throughout high school and they continue to remain that way. I joined the Army after graduating from high school and was assigned to a unit in Germany after I completed basic combat training and my advanced individual training. I was deployed to Bosnia in support of the peace keeping effort while serving with the 1st Armored Division. I was then stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky where I completed Air Assault School. I have served in the National Guard since early 2002 and have been deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I am in my last year of college working on my major in Wildlife Biology. I plan to use my degree and military training to obtain a job working for the federal government.

I was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and shortly thereafter moved to Des Moines, Iowa where I would remain until graduation from high school. After graduating from Valley High, I attended the University of Iowa and studied anthropology and psychology along with being a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. After receiving a bachelor´s degree I enlisted in the United States Army as a chemical operations specialist, and spent six months in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After one month at Fort Irwin, California I moved to Missoula, Montana to pursue a Master´s degree in geography. I enjoy reading textbooks and watching " Knows Best" on VH1.

I am from Great Falls, Montana. I am an SMP (Simultaneous Membership Program) ROTC Cadet and a member of the 823rd TC Detachment with whom I deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003-2004. I am a History Major and hope to be on Active Duty after Commissioning. I enjoy all Montana has to offer including spending time at my cabin, 4-wheeling, hiking, horseback riding and hunting.
