Research Interests:
My research focuses on the theoretical limits of computation, especially in cryptography. I've recently been working on ways to measure and categorize the inherent "cryptographic sophistication" of abstract cryptographic tasks. What ways of restricting access to information & influence over information contribute to cryptographic sophistication?
Hobbies:
Black & white landscape photography (which often necessitates some hiking), snowshoeing, classical guitar (especially from the baroque & renaissance periods), & a cappella singing.
