Regents Professor Emeritus William “Bill” Kittredge Wins 2007 Robert Kirsch Award
Retired Professor William Kittredge has been selected to receive the 2007 Robert Kirsch Award, a lifetime achievement prize given once a year to a living Western author. The prize is among the most prestigious awards in Western literature. “I'm very proud of this award,” said Kittredge. “It's reaffirming for a career in which I've always gotten my books published but never sold a lot.
