Dr. Worthen will also be providing a public lecture dealing with aspects of her new book, Apostles of Reason: The Crisis of Authority in American Evangelicalism, from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM on March 10th in UC 330.

Molly Worthen is an assistant professor of history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she teaches courses in North American intellectual history and global Christianity. Her most recent book is Apostles of Reason: The Crisis of Authority in American Evangelicalism (Oxford University Press). She also writes about religion and politics for The New York Times, Slate, The New Republic, and other publications.
