Mary Elrod Ferguson Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Amount: varies - approximately $5,700
Criteria: The scholarship awarded from this memorial is presented to a currently enrolled student at The University of Montana who attends classes at the Biological Station.
James and Wanda Hollensteiner Scholarship
Scholarship amount: varies - approximately$1,000
Criteria: Deserving undergraduate or graduate students at The University of Montana who are studying or doing research at the Flathead Lake Biological Station. A major focus of their study and activities shall be monitoring water quality in Flathead Lake and the tributaries thereto, and support to the Critical Lands Project in the Flathead Valley relating to preservation of open space, sloughs, flood plains, etc.
Dr. Robert L. Gilbertson Scholarship
Amount: varies – approximately $3,400
Criteria: Deserving students at The University of Montana's Flathead Lake Biological Station. The scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students based on academic performance the previous year at The University of Montana. Each recipient shall be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student, and a resident of the State of Montana.
