Women's Studies Scholarships
Louise Greene-Elizabeth Smith Activist Scholarship
Criteria:
- Open to undergraduate students with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Applicants must achieve Junior status by Fall 2007. Transfer students must be in their second semester at The University of Montana.
- Students must have declared either a Liberal Studies Major with an emphasis in Women’s and Gender Studies or a Women’s and Gender Studies Minor.
Application Process: Applicants for the scholarship are to submit the following for consideration:
- A cover letter specifying for which scholarship you are applying.
- 300 – 350 word essay discussing your community and University activities related to Women’s and Gender Studies, including a brief statement of your projected career goals.
- A letter of recommendation from a supervisor or faculty member.
Application Deadline: Submit all application materials to the Women’s and Gender Studies Program office (LA 138A) by November 15th, 2007
