PROGRAM DIRECTORS

KATE RYAN, Director of Composition
Professor Ryan received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina Greensboro (2001). She was previously an Assistant Professor of English and Coordinator of Undergraduate Writing at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.V. Her research and teaching interests include composition and rhetorical theories and pedagogies, feminist rhetorical theory, and writing program administration. Her scholarly work has appeared in such notable publications as Composition Studies and Rhetoric Society Quarterly, and is forthcoming in WPA: Journal of the Council of Writing.
