Author of They Are Sleeping (Contemporary Poetry Series, University of Georgia, 2000), and Circadian (Penguin, 2007), Joanna is the recipient of a Rona Jaffe Writer's Award (2003). Her poems have appeared in Boston Review, The Kenyon Review, Denver Quarterly, and other journals. She has been a permanent member of the poetry faculty since the fall of 2001.
