Profile:

Ph.D., University of North Carolina Greensboro (2001). Rhetoric and Composition; Feminist Rhetorical Studies; Writing Program Administration. Research and teaching interests include composition and rhetorical theories and pedagogies, feminist rhetorical studies, and writing program administration. Articles include "Memory, History, and Invention: Reimagining the Canon of Memory for the Writing Classroom" and, forthcoming in Rhetoric Review, "Recasting Recovery and Gender Critique as Inventive Arts: Constructing Edited Collections in Feminist Rhetorical Studies." Collaborative articles include "From 'What Is' to 'What Is Possible': Theorizing Curricular Document Revision as In(ter)vention and Reform" and "Fusing Horizons: Standpoint Hermeneutics and Invitational Rhetoric." She is working on several projects including "Places of Possibility, Sites of Action: Reseeing the Gaps between High School and College Writing Instruction," an article on Gerda Lerner's rhetoric, and essays on writing program administration and collaboration.
