Film Studies Option Requirements
English Major w/Film Studies Option
To satisfy the requirements for the English major with the Film Studies option, students must earn between 45 and 60 credits, completing the following:
1. Each of these two core courses (6 credits):
- ENFM/LS 180 – Introduction to Film
- ENFM/LS 227/LIT 270 – Film as Literature, Literature as Film
2. Each of these four focus courses (12 credits):

To satisfy the requirements for a minor in Film Studies, students must earn a total of 27 credits through a combination of required foundation core courses and electives, completing the following:
