Affiliated Faculty
Many other faculty members work with EVST students--teaching courses, inviting students into their graduate courses, helping with Masters' papers, and serving on thesis and professional paper committees. We hope to list more of these faculty members on this page in the future. Here are a few of these people...
Jerry Bromenshenk
Jerry Bromenshenk, Division of Biological Sciences. His website has information on his bee research, and links to information about his research grants, some of which might provide funding for EVST students with the appropriate background.

Daniel Kemmis
Daniel Kemmis, Director of the Center for the Rocky Mountain West, is the former Mayor of Missoula, and a former Speaker of the Montana House of Representatives. He leads a graduate seminar on bioregional politics in the West.
Paul Hansen
Paul Hansen (Ph.D., South Dakota State Univ., 1985) is a faculty affiliate with EVST. He works with students on projects and thesis committees, sometimes providing internship opportunities, and contributing to seminars or fieldtrips. He has served as a consultant to numerous federal, state, and local agencies, as well to entities in the private sector. Paul is currently associated with Bitterroot Restoration.

Pat Williams
Pat Williams is Senior Fellow and Regional Policy associate for the Center for the Rocky Mountain West, which is affiliated with the University. Williams served Montana in the U.S. Congress from 1979 to 1997. He helps to teach a course (Montana Wilderness Process) that reviews the congressional history of the wilderness designation, with special attention to Montana's history.
