Research and Current Students

Areas of Teaching and Research Interest:
Basic and applied hydrogeology.

Courses:

GEOL 420 (4cr.) Hydrogeology
GEOL 572 (3cr.) Advanced Hydrogeology
GEOL 581 (3cr.) Groundwater Modeling
GEOL 573 (3cr.) SW-GW Interactions
GEOL 585 (3cr.) Groundwater Remediation

Areas of Teaching and Mentoring:
Research concentrates on quantifying flow systems in intermountain valleys, resource analysis, pharmaceuticals, and ground water - surface water interactions, characterization of hazardous wastes and contaminant transport including virus transport, and the use of groundwater flow models to evaluate conceptual models and make predictions.
