About the Department
The Department of History at the University of Montana is a community of thirteen faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate majors and minors within the University´s College of Arts and Sciences. Our department office is located in Room 256 of the Liberal Arts (LA) Building.
The faculty is composed of accomplished and award-winning scholars and teachers who make themselves accessible to students. Their research and teaching interests range widely but cover key areas of American, European, and world history. Prospective students should also consult the individual faculty pages to fully appreciate the range of topics and options available for study and research.
