Biography
|
| Linda
S. Frey, Ph.D., 1971, Ohio State University. She has
also taught as a Visiting Professor at the United States
Military Academy, West Point, New York and at The Ohio
State University and subsequently has served as the
McDermott Chair in Humanities and Public Affairs at
the United States Military Academy, West Point, New
York. Her work has been funded the National Endowment
for the Humanities, the National Endowment for the Humanities
and the United States Office of Education among others.
The University of Montana recognized her achievements
with the Distinguished Scholar Award in 2001. Area of
specialization is seventeenth and eighteenth century
Europe, particularly France and Germany, the evolution
of international law and the international state system,
and the French Revolution. |
