MLS Workshops for Students

Multicultural Learning Solutions (MLS) offers two different workshop programs for students.

Cultural Adaptation Workshops for incoming international students studying at The University of Montana. Those workshops are offered during orientation week through the Office of Foreign Student & Scholar Services (FSSS).

Cultural Adaptation Workshops for UM study abroad students.

MLS experts agree, an international experience is the perfect way to boost a resume and improve post-graduate employment prospects.

Students who go abroad with an open mind, are certain to return to their home country a more enlightened person. One of the major benefits of studying abroad is the ability to broaden world understanding and perspective on just about anything.

Nowadays, employers actively seek college graduates who have spent time studying abroad because they want employees with a cultural and global competence as well as foreign language skills. Before students go abroad however, pre-departure training is an important part of the preparation for a successful time away from home that everyone should consider.
