Application

The Native American Student Scholarship application can be downloaded from this website, or picked up at the Native American Studies Department. Completed application packets should include the following:

Application Requirements

  • Completed and signed application form.
  • Letter of recommendation from a non-relative who can comment on your academic abilities and accomplishments.
  • Essay, please see application for essay instructions.
  • Completed Activities and Honors Grid. Please list all Extracurricular Activities, Community or Volunteer Services, Awards and Honors received.
  • Current transcripts (may be unofficial).
  • Verification of tribal enrollment or descendency.

Please note that three (3) scholarships have unique essay requirements and one (1) scholarship has a unique letter of recommendation requirement. See Scholarship Descriptions for a list of scholarships and special requirements.

Deadline

MARCH 1 st: All application materials must be post marked or delivered to NAS on or before MARCH 1 of each year.
