Public outreach, science, and technology are key components of the UMPC. This may involve Montana school students and teachers.
Exhibits showcasing the UMPC’s diverse collection of fossil organisms are located on the 1st and 3rd floors of the Charles H. Clapp Building located on the University of Montana campus. Tours of UMPC facilities including our fossil collections and fossil preparation lab are available to school groups and interested public alike. For more information, contact the UMPC.
Other public outreach programs will be developed as time allows. These future programs may include a high school internship program, Paleo Days, and a grade school level activity day. These programs will focus on paleontological and geological subjects. Please check back for updates or contact the Collections Manager.
