In the fall of 2006 I joined the Department of Philosophy at the University of Montana as an Assistant Professor. Before that I have been a wissenschaftlicher

at the University of Erfurt. I recently
completed a postdoctoral position in the research group Philosophy, Probability and
Modeling
at the University of Konstanz. I successfully defended my dissertation
in the History and Philosophy
of
Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh in 2004. I
specialize in philosophy of science and philosophy of physics.
