Professional Information
Professor Huff's principal academic interests are in constitutional theory
including privacy, free speech, administrative due process, and the taking
of property by government regulation; and in modern liberal democratic
political philosophy. Professor Huff has published articles in these areas
in law reviews and philosophy journals focusing on the normative structure
of judicial arguments.
Professor Huff has been at UM since 1967 and was twice winner of the University's
Outstanding Teacher Award. He was also winner of the University's Outstanding
Academic Adviser Award.
