During his career he published a number of books and wrote many scholarly articles in addition to his strong commitment to teaching and serving as director of the masters of political science program.
Professor Grieves’ areas of specialization were international relations and comparative politics. He taught courses in international relations, European politics, Soviet and Post Soviet politics, American foreign policy, and international law. He also taught classes in American government throughout his career.
