The Pre-medical Sciences Program at The University of Montana is an advising program that assists baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate students become well-informed, well-prepared applicants to health professions schools and programs in allopathic medicine, chiropractic medicine, dentistry, naturopathic medicine, optometry, osteopathic medicine, physician assistant, podiatry and veterinary medicine.Students interested in physical therapy, nursing, medical technology and pharmacy should consult the index of the University catalog for an appropriate advisor. The Pre-medical Sciences Program serves approximately 175 currently enrolled students, of whom 30 apply annually to various professional schools.University of Montana students have been very successful in getting into some of the best health professions schools and programs in the nation.
