The River Center will host a series of river-science talks, in conjunction with the Department of Geosciences colloquium, in Spring 2013. These talks will be Mondays, 4:10-5 pm, CHCB 304, on UM's main campus.

February 25: Jack Schmidt, USGS Grand Canyon Research and Monitoring Center: “A Watershed perspective on rehabilitating the Colorado River”
March 11: Nicola Pasquale, Institute of Environmental Engineering, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - ETH Zurich: “Above- and below-ground Salix dynamics in response to river processes (in alluvial river beds)”
