Requirements for Submission of Data

If you are submitting data for use in an application, please follow the standards listed below. Please be as specific as possible with your instructions and clearly label any disks you submit. All data must have clear directions as to where it goes on the site.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you.

Text

Textual data may be submitted by the following means:

  • In the Body of Email
  • As an Email Attachment
  • Burned to CD
  • Saved on a Memory Stick
  • Exact URL (Internet Address)
  • In most cases, we will not accept hard copies to be typed. If this is a problem, please ask.

We can accept the following file types:

Please note: Although we can use most file types, it is safest to submit your documents using Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, or Word Pad. Some common file types are:

  • Text Document (.txt)
  • Microsoft Word (.doc)
  • Word Perfect Document (.wpd)
  • Rich Text Format (.rtf)
  • Adobe Printable Document Format (.pdf)

Please be aware that different versions of some programs may result in the loss of original formatting. Spectral Fusion is not responsible for re-formatting text, unless specifically instructed to do so. Please include these instructions with your submission. Spectral Fusion is not responsible for correcting grammatical errors found in submissions.

Graphics

Graphical data may be submitted by the following means:

  • As an Email Attachment (If sending an email, put "your name" and "department/association" in the title)
  • Burned to CD
  • Saved on a Memory Stick
  • Exact URL (Internet Address)

Although we prefer to have files submitted digitally, we do have the capability to scan both 35mm slides and photographs. However, this tends to be very costly and time consuming.

We can accept most file types; however, the most common are JPEG, GIF, and BMP.

Spectral Fusion may have to modify the quality and/or size of your graphics to put them on the web.
