Women and Gender Studies Minor

Available to all students in all majors. Minor consists of 20 credits.

Requirements are:

 

  • WGS 851H (formerly PHIL/LS 151H) Philosophical Perspectives on Women in the Western Hemisphere -OR- WGS 263S Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies
  • WGS 363 Feminist Theory and Methods
  • WGS 463 Capstone Seminar (2 credits)
  • Additional 12 credits of Women’s and Gender Studies approved Courses, at least one of which is 300-400 level. WGS 398, Co-operative Education Experience internships, may be applied toward these credits
