Women and Gender Studies Minor:
Available to all students in all majors. Minor consists of 19 credits. Requirements are:
WGS119 Philosophical Perspectives on Women in the Western Hemisphere -OR- WS 263 Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies
WGS275 Gender and Society
WGS 363 Feminist Theory and Methods
Additional 9 credits (3 courses) of 300-400 level focus or content Women's and Gender Studies Courses. WS 398, Co-operative Education Experience internships, may be applied toward these credits.
WGS463 Capstone Seminar (2 credits)
Women's and Gender Studies Option within the Liberal Studies Major:
Available to Liberal Studies majors. Requirements include:

21 credits of 300-400 level Women's and Gender Studies courses
At least 12 of the 21 credits must be focus courses; 9 more may be content courses
WS 398 Co-operative Education Experience internships may be applied toward these credits.
Requests for substitutions or equivalency must be approved by the director.
